Pascal 2 is a social-oriented kitchen sink modpack with tight integration between mods and too much custom content. The aim of the modlist is to pick lesser known mods, the second choice if you will; mods which might not be the most popular in what they do, but are still worthy of a look.
This pack lets you play with your friends without any additional software with e⁴mc, it also lets you have an economy through Camphor, have per-player loot chests through Lootr, set up fast travel locations with Via Romana, and last but not least, you can also have Ears (and wings and tails and snouts and horns etc.)!

We are using Nature's Spirit for the bulk of the new biomes and Geophilic for a lick of paint over the vanilla ones.
Looking for something more subterranean? How about Profundis and a fully supported Excavated Variants?
Other mods like Arts and Crafts (mentioned below) and Bountiful Fares also throw their hat into the ring adding new trees, foods, building blocks, etc.
Hear the demands of growing a factory in your head? Well, we have the entire Thermal series in here tied tight into Yttr. Crush ores to double ingots, break the void beneath the world, forge new alloys, automate everything.
Are you the type of person to run Arch Linux? Perhaps OpenComputers2 is up your alley. Adding full fledged computers with upgradeable cpus, RAM, different installable cards and more! Wrest control of your factory, one line of Lua at a time.
Magic more your style? Try this one on for size: Malum, an open ended magic mod based off the dark study of spirit magic. Reap the souls of the mobs, build all-powerful totems, or delve into spirit metallurgy.
Not quite your speed? How about Hexcasting? This one allows you to program completely custom spells which let you do whatever you can imagine. Summon falling anvils whereever you look, teleport great distances, or create trinkets to prank your friends.
Allow me to boast for a second. Pascal 2 currently has 431 completely custom blocks all (so far) with the goal of increasing compatability and consistency between mods.
Some mods don't fit into neat categories like others but are still worth mentioning like El and L's Dyes which adds 20 new dyes (and a big dollop of other stuff on top), Arts & Crafts which adds tonnes of blocks for building and decoration, and Tide which is a complete overhaul to fishing adding 100+ (biome and time dependant) fish.
