A modpack with many basic mods for starting a kitchen-sink modpack. Including world gen, performance, graphical, storage, extra mobs and quality of life mods.

A modpack with lots of vanilla-styled mods for starting a modpack with, including performance, graphical, storage, worldgen, quality of life, mobs, multiplayer, etc.

The pack should work as a server as well - it will automatically disable the client-side mods when starting the server.

Although it can be enjoyed as a nice pack in its own right, I'm primarily maintaining this as my "go-to" starting template when building/editing my other modpacks. I added some recommended additions or swapouts (See the "Considerations for swapping/adding" panels below). (I, myself, like to rather also add more tech, gun and difficulty mods, for example.)

Configs you might want to customise:

  1. The "config/aiutd.json" file for the Am I Up to Date mod is currently configured to point to this specific modpack. They have nice instructions on their mod page on how to set it up for your own pack.
  2. Starter kit. If you add other mods with manuals, try adding them to the Akashic Tome and updating your starter kit with it.
