Manhunt
Fully automated Minecraft Manhunt minigame for Paper 1.26+ with matchmaking, parties, safe spawning, arena worlds, airdrops, catch-up events, animated scoreboard, and automatic cleanup
ManHunt
Turn Minecraft Manhunt into a fully automated server minigame.
ManHunt brings the classic Speedrunner vs. Hunter experience to modern Paper servers with matchmaking, arena worlds, safe spawning, parties, airdrops, animated scoreboards, and automatic cleanup.
No manual setup. No messy resets. No staff babysitting every round. Players queue, spawn, hunt, survive, and jump straight into the next match.
Overview
ManHunt is built for server owners who want a polished Manhunt experience that feels ready to play from the moment players join.
Instead of manually creating worlds, teleporting players, assigning teams, giving tracking items, and resetting arenas, ManHunt handles the full match lifecycle automatically.
Players can join your server, open the ManHunt menu, queue for a game, and start playing with almost no staff involvement.
Features
Queue
Players receive a custom Create ManHunt item when they join the server. This opens a modern menu where they can create or join games.
ManHunt supports:
- Public solo queue
- Party-based games
- Clean lobby flow
- MiniMessage styling
- Custom player heads
- Simple player onboarding
This makes ManHunt easy to use for both private friend groups and public servers.
Arenas
ManHunt integrates with My_Worlds to manage arena worlds automatically.
The plugin can:
- Generate arena worlds
- Load game worlds
- Prepare fresh arenas
- Clean up old match worlds
- Delete unused worlds after games
This keeps your server clean and prevents old Manhunt worlds from filling up storage.
Spawns
ManHunt uses an intelligent spawning system designed to avoid unfair or broken starts.
The plugin searches for safe ground before placing players into the arena, helping prevent spawns in oceans, lava, trees, caves, or suffocation spots.
Start
Every match begins with a dramatic Hunter setup.
The Speedrunner spawns safely in the arena while Hunters are placed in a calculated circle around them. Hunters are frozen in place until the Speedrunner punches one of them to begin the hunt.
This creates a fair, cinematic, and exciting start to every game.
Events
ManHunt keeps matches intense with automatic mid-game events.
Airdrops bring supply crates into the match, marked by visual lightning, sounds, and holograms.
Catch-up boosts help Hunters stay dangerous if they fall too far behind.
Reveal fireworks prevent endless hiding by periodically exposing the Speedrunner’s position.
These systems keep games moving and make every round feel unpredictable.
Interface
ManHunt includes a clean animated scoreboard that changes depending on the game state.
In the lobby, players can see useful information such as:
- Online players
- Ping
- Server TPS
- Queue status
During matches, the scoreboard switches to game information such as:
- Alive Hunters
- Alive Speedrunners
- Ping
- Server TPS
- Match state
The interface is designed to look modern without cluttering the screen.
Deaths
ManHunt replaces standard vanilla death messages during matches with configurable custom messages.
When a Speedrunner kills a Hunter, the server can broadcast funny modern roast messages that make the moment feel more memorable.
This gives every match more personality and makes big plays stand out in chat.
Benefits
ManHunt saves server owners time and gives players a smoother experience.
Without ManHunt, hosting Manhunt usually means manually preparing worlds, assigning roles, teleporting players, giving items, resetting arenas, and cleaning files after every game.
ManHunt automates that entire process.
It is made for servers that want a plug-and-play Manhunt minigame with a premium feel, strong replay value, and enough polish to keep players coming back for one more round.
