Kitchen Projectiles

Knives are great for cooking. They're also great for throwing.

Kitchen Projectiles allows you to throw knives from Farmer's Delight (Refabricated). Knives are thrown just like tridents and deal as much damage as they do for melee attacks.

Knives remember which slot they came from and when picked up return to that slot if it is free, including the offhand.

Knives can now receive additional enchantments:

Loyalty

Like a trident, the knife will return to you.

If the knife is enchanted with Backstabbing, it can still deal damage while returning if it hasn't hit a mob yet. This is a good way to get the damage bonus from Backstabbing without needing invisibility.

Knives also return from the void correctly.

Multishot

Like a crossbow, you will throw three knives. Only the middle knife can be picked up.

Compat

• Currently compatible with Enchancement. Any enchantment will also apply loyalty to the knife, and all sword enchantments work as expected. There are very likely balance issues with this, pending further testing.
• Should work with mods that add new FD knives as long as the knives are added to the #farmersdelight:tools/knives tag, although the throwing pose will not be correct.
• Now available for Neoforge! Requires Forgified Fabric API
