Why Luminol Republic?

• Cozy Golden lighting. Warm sun, cool shadows, and no blown-out sand or snow.
• Made for low-end devices. Every setting shows a colored performance label (Very Low / Low / Medium / High / Ultra), plus a one-click Low-End Device profile.
• Runs on iPad. Tested on an iPad (10th gen): about 60-90 FPS on High (75% -65% Resolution)

What's inside

Sky and night

• Four aurora variants, each with a 25% chance every night
• A real moon with phases, craters and earthshine, brighter stars and a Milky Way on some nights
• Sunset Rework with layered amber, rose and violet dusks
• Vanilla Clouds (soft, rounded, vanilla-shaped), plus classic and fully Volumetric clouds

World

• Morning Mist, Dappled Light under trees, and Foliage Glow
• Falling Leaves & Petals, Fireflies and Pollen
• Snow Overhaul with icy blue tones
• Biome Colour Grading (warm deserts, cool snow, lush jungles)
• Cave Atmosphere, glowing blocks, and Chunk Rise-In

Weather and water

• Visible Lightning Bolts, rain ripples, puddle and wet reflections
• Greyer, calmer sea water and clear teal lakes, with Shore Foam on beaches

• Smart Culling skips work you can't see
• Solid Leaves option for full-block leaves
• Quick Settings page at the top of the menu
• Profiles: Potato, Extremely Low, Low, Low-End Device, Medium, Balanced, High, Ultra and Screenshot Mode
• Distant Horizons support (Bobby works automatically)
• Nether and End overhauls

Requirements

• Minecraft Java Edition with Iris (Sodium recommended)
• Tested on Minecraft 26.2 and 26.3. Support for 1.21.11 is included but less tested.

Install

1. Install Iris and Sodium.
2. Put the downloaded .zip in your shaderpacks folder (don't unzip it).
3. In-game: Options → Video Settings → Shader Packs → select Luminol Republic Shader.

Tips

• On a weak device, pick the Low-End Device profile first.
• If frames drop, turn off Falling Leaves and Fireflies (both rated Medium).
• Use Screenshot Mode only for pictures.
