found-footage horror shader for iris. a fork of complementary unbound r5.8.1 that lays film grain, a ps1-era dither, handheld weave, halation and a desaturated violet-shadowed grade over a modern renderer.
a stylistic found-footage shader for Minecraft.
the idea is simple: the world renders properly, and the camera pointed at it does not. the lighting, shadows and materials underneath are a full modern shader stack. everything sitting on top of that is a cheap camcorder with a dirty lens, running film that has been in the bag too long. grain, a coarse PS1-era dither, a slight handheld weave, warm bleed around bright things, dust on the gate, and a desaturated grade with purple in the shadows.
the point is that it should read as a recording of the world rather than as the world. it is not a horror overlay. there is no permanent HUD, no scanlines, no fake VHS bar wiping down the screen. the world stays legible and you stay able to play; it just looks like somebody else filmed it.
