Smiley Sans, known in Chinese as 'Deyi Hei', is an open-source artistic narrow italic sans-serif typeface released on 15 November 2022. It was jointly developed by Bilibili creator oooooohmygosh and the type design studio atelierAnchor. The typeface features a narrow and slanted structure with a slope of 6°, seeking a visual balance between humanistic aesthetics and geometric characteristics. The details incorporate special shapes inspired by hand-drawn artistic letters, including large curved hooks, giving it a modern and friendly style. The typeface supports commonly used simplified Chinese characters (covering all 6763 characters in the GB/T 2312-1980 set and additional characters, totalling 6767 characters), Latin letters (supporting over 100 languages), Cyrillic letters, Greek letters, Japanese kana, Arabic numerals, and various punctuation marks.
