MxSxC1 Sniper Scope Included Carved Pumplin Override
This is to be used with with multiple other packs related to:
The Dark Is A Cold Lonely Shadow
The current drop down is a guide, and will help guage, but is not completely accurate with regards to a distance/velocity/dropdown (now improved in v1). However it provides a good indicator and is similar concept to any sniper scope you'd see on a modern day rifle. And it works.
Pack Purpose
Replaces Spyglass Zoom with Scope. Replaces Carved Pumpkin Overlay with Scope. (This will be used in multiple datapacks and be a pre-requisite once finished)
This replaces the scope with a Sniper like scope, with drop/fall markers. This is required for forthcoming scope and weapon modifications, and for testing with various gravity settings, distances and other packs.
When To Use
This is designed to work as it is with any pack. However this is specifically designed for use and testing with:
- Witch (AKA Mistress Of The Wheel) Insanity Crossbow
- Logans Sniper Crossbow
- Serpent Snowballs
- Singularity Grenades
- MxSxC1 Arena
- The Time Machine [The Historians Moon Scope]
- Avery's Scope
- Moon Phases
Steps To Install & Update
Drop the folder "mxsxc1_sniperscope" into your resource packs folder.
C:\Users[UserName]\AppData\Roaming.minecraft\resourcepacks\mxsxc1_sniperscope

Witch snapped at Faran. “This is a crossbow? It's too light! It feels more like a toothpick.”
She started to suspiciously unwrap the package. “I'm not interested in any of your fancy compound and pulley nonsense Faran. How dare you insult my crossbow that has served me for longer than...”
As Witch finished unwrapping the package Faran succeeded in doing what nobody else had managed in twenty years.
Witch was speechless...
She pointed down and moved to say something, then paused and looked up at Faran. Then she looked down at it again, before looking up at Faran in confusion.
Witch looked down at it again, then finally pointed at it and queried. “What?”
Avery burst into laughter. “Witch! That's the shortest, clearest and most understandable sentence I've ever heard you say! And I even understood it.”
Witch repeated. “What? What is this? It doesn't make sense? Why are there three?”
Faran said quietly. “Well because it shoots three bolts!”
Witch looked up in amazement. “At the same time?”
Faran nodded. “Well, yes!”
Witch laughed dubiously. “Insanity!”
