About Minecraft All Back

Minecraft All Back (MCAB) is a collection of nostalgic resource packs that I have personally created, with the aim of giving the latest version of Minecraft a vintage look.They not only change the existing classic style textures, but also modify new items and blocks in the new version to match the style of the classic version. At the same time, the UI interface and icons have also been meticulously restored (such as buttons turning blue when pointed at by the cursor, classic versions of potion effect icons, etc.).

The core resource pack of this series, also known as Minecraft All Back, is a comprehensive replica and extension of the classic version of Minecraft's artistic style. Remake most of the block objects not included in Programmer Art to match the classic art style.

In addition, there will be more resource pack works included here, all of which are replicas or extensions of the old Minecraft art style in higher versions.

Why make this resource pack without using Programmer Art?

Because Programmer Art has stopped maintenance and Mojang has not updated it since the default resource pack was modified. I have also followed some similar resource packs made by authors, and they are very good, but I still want to create my own style and keep up with the latest version of Minecraft, so that the latest version of items and blocks can also adapt to the style of classic materials.

Compatibility issues

• Although many of the resource packages here do not display version incompatibility (I have set it to display any version as compatible), in reality, I only tested the version indicated by each release. If you load with an mismatched version, it will not display version errors, but the actual effect may be incorrect.
• I won't make PBR textures for them, other original style PBR resource packs may give some blocks incorrect effects.
• Only supports versions 1.20 and above. If you use a lower version, some errors may occur. I will not maintain compatibility with resource packs for lower versions.
• It is not recommended to overlay Programmer Art on Minecraft All Back, as Minecraft All Back already includes all the content of Programmer Art, and some transitional style materials (such as sponge texture, which falls between the classic style and the new style) have also been modified. Overcovering may cause some transitional style textures to appear.
