Lovely Cobblemon Trees
Makes a variety of visual improvements to apricorn and saccharine trees, including model and texture changes. Highly configurable using Respackopts!
Miniature Shader and Better Clouds are used in screenshots.
- Leaf Models -
Three options are included for both the apricorn & saccharine leaf models: Vanilla, Bushy, and Better Leaves. These can be chosen independently! For example, you could use Better Leaves for apricorn trees and Bushy for saccharine trees or vice versa.
Motschen's Better Leaves is required for the "Better Leaves" option to work correctly. It should be placed below Lovely Cobblemon Trees in the list of resource packs.
- Colorful Leaves & Green Apricorn Leaves -
Inspired by Os' Colorful Leaves, this pack adds variety to apricorn & saccharine leaves in much the same way!
If you want to take things another step away from vanilla, you can also enable green apricorn leaves, based off of the appearance of apricorn trees in HeartGold & SoulSilver.
- Tinted Apricorn Growth Stages -
As apricorns grow, their coloration becomes more and more obvious. This makes it much easier to determine what color apricorns are currently growing.
- Dreamy Saccharine Wood -
Saccharine tree bark has these lovely purple-brown undertones to it which I adore! Yet when the bark is stripped away, it reveals soft blue wood instead. Pretty as it may be, I decided to add a different, "dreamier" color palette.
Besides the different colors, the door & trapdoor designs can also be swapped out for custom designs which feature the same dreamy colors alongside angular shapes and frosted glass detailing.
- Unique Potted Saplings -
Apricorn & saccharine saplings now use unique pots with custom models and textures. Each of the potted apricorn saplings are inspired by different pokéball types corresponding to their color.
The yellow pot was inspired by the GS ball, however, it is instead shown with the citrine ball since the GS ball isn't currently included in Cobblemon.
- Compatability - Fresh Look: Better Chests -
Enabling the Fresh Look: Better Chests compatility option will swap out the apricorn & saccharine chest boat textures for versions which match with the updated chest textures added by the resource pack.
In the comparison shown above, standard blue saccharine wood is enabled, however, the compatability option also works with "dreamy" saccharine wood.
