God of War Tridents
Replace your trident with multiple optional weapons. Replaces models, textures, sound effects and makes the trident entity animated. Inspired by the famous video game, God of War. Works with OptiFine, or CIT Resewn + Custom Entity Models mod.

Higher-detailed AND less FPS-consuming model of the Mjolnir. Replaces the Trident, no new mechanics are added. Works just like the trident! Contains less objects than the 128x variant and is much more detailed which yields higher perfomance.
Reactivity:
When the weapon is thrown, the runes light up. When the weapon is in your hand and you are in rain / water, the runes light up. When the weapon is thrown, a lightning effect appears around the handle and it will leave a big lightning trail behind the hammer. Once it lands, both effects disappear. When the weapon is impaled into an object, and is in rain / water, a lightning effect appears around the handle (provides better visibility underwater if you throw your weapon and it can't return).
It might work in versions above 1.16.5 and below 1.19, but I don't recommend trying it as it can function badly in older versions!
