Clear Powder Snow

Clear Powder Snow - No Freeze Overlay is a client-side resource pack for Minecraft Java Edition. It changes one specific thing about the vanilla look, and nothing else.

What it changes

• The frost / ice overlay drawn around the edges of the screen is removed
• Nothing else changes - freezing, damage and the slow effect all work as in vanilla

Why players use it

• You can find the way out of powder snow instead of being blinded by frost
• Handy in snowy biomes and for exploring mountains

Install

1. Download the .zip file from this page (do not unzip it).
2. Drop it into .minecraft/resourcepacks - or use the CurseForge app.
3. Enable it in Options → Resource Packs and move it to the top of the list.

Works on Minecraft 1.21.x (Java Edition) and on most launchers. Client-side only: it works on any server, and no one else needs it.
