Hey, Copper Edition here! It was unpleasant for me to be told that Amethyst took my spot. However, I discussed with them and we came to an agreement. To keep it short: Both, Copper and Amethyst now share the space of MC 1.18 and beyond and co-exist for the most recent versions. There used to be differences but these have been solved.

Now you have a choice! Thanks for letting us be with you for so long. May we shade the texts of your future.

Shhh... hey you, yes you! Amethyst Edition here. I'm hijacking this... changelog because I want you to know that... what Copper Edition is trying to hide... is the fact that you can secretly use... Amethyst v8 in MC 26+ and aren't limited... to MC 1.18-1.21 anymore in case you... really liked it like the creator did. (...) Okay-, enough for now, don't tell that... to Copper Edition, okay?

• Fixed an issue causing Amethyst edition to be broken on MC 1.21.9+
• Adjusted version support for Amethyst edition to now support MC 1.21 fully to be more in line with the other editions and the upcoming MC version jump
• Removed Herobrine

Update Specific Questions

Q: What's the difference between this and Copper v6?

A: For MC 1.21.9-1.21.11 you can now choose between Amethyst v7 and Copper v6, they are functionally the same now except that Copper v6 doesn't support MC 1.21.8 and below which Amethyst v7 does now instead. Copper will likely be moved to MC 26+ or there will be a separate edition for future versions.
