💀 Custom Player Death Sound

A simple, lightweight resource pack that gives players a unique, dedicated death sound effect without messing up standard damage sounds.

✨ Features

• Isolated Death Sound: Overrides ONLY the entity.player.death event via sounds.json. Taking fall damage, getting hit by mobs, or starving will still play the normal vanilla hurt sounds!
• Cross-Version Compatible: Originally designed for 1.21.11 (1.21.x), but fully supports a wide range of older and newer versions. (You can safely ignore the "incompatible" warning in older versions).
• Multiplayer Friendly: Completely Client-Side. You can use it on any multiplayer server, realm, or singleplayer world.

📦 Installation

1. Download the .zip file.
2. Place it in your .minecraft/resourcepacks folder.
3. Enable it in the game settings! (Load it at the top of your resource pack list to ensure priority).

Want to use your own funny meme sound or dramatic explosion? Simply open the zip file and replace the death.ogg file located inside assets/minecraft/sounds/custom/ with your own Vorbis .ogg file!
