What’s New in 1.0.1:
Zombie PvP Blocking: Infected players (anything with the "zombie" group) can no longer attack each other. This prevents zombie-on-zombie combat and preserves faction cooperation among the infected.
Clearer Infection Feedback: When a player is infected, a distinct “ding” sound plays and a bold “ZOMBIEE” alert appears on screen in the BedWars style, making the transition unmistakable.
Configurable Infection Hits: The number of hits required for a zombie (player or mob) to infect a player is now fully configurable in config.yml, allowing greater control and balancing for your server’s desired difficulty.
Adjustable Slowness: Permanent slowness applied to infected players can now be set in config.yml (levels 1-3, as recommended), ensuring you can fine-tune the movement penalty.
All Core Features Retained: Night zombies remain quadrupled, beds explode, infection persists through restarts with LuckPerms group swap and restoration, permanent slowness/milk immunity, commands, and placeholder tracking are all unchanged unless noted above.
Configuration Improvements: All new and legacy options are centrally managed in one file, making your setup easier and more flexible than ever.

ZombieSMP requires LuckPerms for advanced group and permission management; this is essential to save and restore player roles during infections. PlaceholderAPI is recommended (but optional) to enable the %zombies% placeholder, allowing infection counts to be shown on scoreboards, tab lists, holograms, or chat. The plugin is built for Bukkit Servers 1.21.x, ensuring smooth performance and compatibility. Configuration is handled via a flexible config.yml, where you can customize messages, infection duration, commands, zombie spawn multipliers, and other mechanics to tailor gameplay to your server’s needs.
