NEW FEATURES

  • /tc reload now has an additional argument: forceReload, a boolean value of which can be determined if the admin wants or not to reload and force cache reloading whitout changing the setting in the main config file.

CHANGES

  • Changed from Rarities to Tiers (name and config change).
  • Added retro-compatibility with 1.21.4.

FIXES

  • Fixed error throwing if rarities are missing from tcg config file.
  • Fixed global glint setting in settings.glint-name.enabled. And added in wiki documentation the enabled setting.

NEW FEATURES

  • Added inventory-cards-only message whenever a players tries to put anything inside an album that is not a trading card.
  • Added particles for pack openings. Players will display particle effects when opening card packs. Particles can be enabled in the setting config in config.yml trough pack-opening-particles and defaults to false. The global setting for particles is in the item section in the same file, while local configurations can be found inside each game .yml file, once in settings.particles.pack and more detailed inside pack.PACK_NAME.particles.
  • Added the survival-only-command message to everyone that gets to open packs in creative mode; this is done to prevent the cards remaining from when a full inventory is held to be sent to the void.
  • Added prevent-recipe-ingredients configuration to prevent custom items from the Trading Cards plugin to be used in vanilla recipes.
  • Added a latest version checker: at startup the plugin will chekc for newer versions of the plugin.
  • Added Date periods for Series. Whenever a drop is happening, or a pack is opened: series will check if the current date is inside (including the dates of start and end) and will be skipped if outside.
    • Loot sets have the new key ignore-dates that will default to false: if set to true, it won't consider date periods of included series.
    • Dates are defined inside date section in the series section definition. Check the wiki to make custom dates.
    • Series can have multiple date periods.

CHANGES

  • Removed text.active: false inside stats and tags to not cause ambiguity.
  • Removed ominous, unique, powerful and rainbow rarities as deemed unused.
  • Changed card rarities:
    • Rarity changed to Common for the following cards: Lava, Sword, Pickaxe, Name Tag, Polar Bear, Stray, Husk, Pufferfish, Fox, Blast Furnace, Bell, Crossbow, Hoglin, Zombie Piglin, Lodestone, Copper, Frog, Firefly
    • Rarity changed to Uncommon for the following cards: Golden Apple, Soul Sand, Silverfish, Ocelot, Brewing Stand, Winter Fox, Zoglin, Copper Golem
    • Rarity changed to Rare for the following cards: Bedrock
    • Rarity changed to Epic for the following cards: Steve, Zombie Pigman, Killer Rabbit
  • Expanded custom-model-data setting inside settings.resource-pack in the games .yml files to have finer configuration over custom model data support in resource packs.
    • Updated the Default Resource pack to follow the new method to handle minecraft clients without an installed resource pack, where previously each one of them viewed the items as missing models.
  • Albums now have a human-readable inventory name: "Trading Card's Album"; that can be customized under settings.album-inventory-name inside the configs.yml.
  • Random amounts inside Loot Sets can now be written having two integer value children to the section. E.g. this configuration will give a number of items from 2 to 10 (included):

  • Removed the blockemon.yml and blocky-oh.yml tcg files, they will be available for free forever in the future, when ready. Removed the games in the games list in config.yml.
  • Configurations for card segments are moved to settings.segments from settings.
  • Amount of common cards in the Starter pack has been increased to 9 (from 7) to avoid pulling the Steve card more than once.
  • Moved the pool of single Steve card from first to last in the Starter pack to avoid pulling the Steve card more than once.
  • Changed the Mannequin card's series to copper-age (from third-drop).
  • Loot sets can set the value of unique by writing also exclusive.
  • function for randomized amounts is set under amount section.
  • Packs now generate cards trough weights and normalization to make rarities feel their set rarity weight.
    • Rarities, in their dedicated section have a new weight value (that can be written also chance for better compatibility) that will be considered on pack openings. The weights are normalized, so there is no need to make precise probabilities.

FIXES

  • Improved error messages: if messages are not configured in messages.yml now the plugin displays an error message in the chat where it should send the message.
  • Changed the setting enable-resource-custom-model-data-support to enable-resource-pack-custom-model-data-support.
  • Stacked packs (happens only when packs have the same randomization seed) would be removed all together whenever they were opened instead of removing and opening only one pack. They now are opened like intended.
  • Missing configurations were registered as always true, instead of their default value.

  • Cards, Albums and Packs now have identifier and type in their custom data for better handling
  • Cards and Packs have game in their custom data to avoid trading card game name conflicts
  • Packs have seed in their custom data
  • Settings to disable resource pack support globally for all games and locally to each trading card game config
  • Setting to set global or local Card, Pack and Album item max stack size
  • chance in Pack and Drop definition now can be set to a decimal value for a more precise precentual chance.

CHANGES

  • Array-type segments will not render if empty or if keys are unconfigured fragments
  • card-name to name in card's detail configuration

FIXES

  • Supporter pack throwing error for missing pack
  • Inventories at load not finding card material

Finally now the resource pack support is back and greater than it ever was! With a great resource pack ready to download in the additional files!

NEW FEATURES

  • namespace, model and custom-model-data (String) available to specify in Cards, Packs in different detail and groupings and a namespace and model also for Albums.
  • messages.yml now includes command descriptions to be translated for every server out here.

RESOURCE PACKS

Downlaod ready for a basic out-of-the-box Resource Pack in the additional files section.

Welcome back! I've worked for the past months to have a new configuration structure and to refactor and subdivide java classes and methods.

NEW FEATURES

  • Added shareable TCGs .yml files
  • Added new cards for Copper Age and Mounts of Mayhem drops
  • Extensible text structures
  • Updated to Minecraft 1.21.10
  • New fancier messages for players needing feedback for their commands

CHANGES

  • Permissions are now working as intended
  • Cards generated from /tc give command and pack openings are now dropped if the player's inventory is full
  • Item materials are now moved to config.yml
  • The lists.yml, games.yml, cards.yml and drops.yml are now merged together but subdivided each per own TCG
  • Customization of Lore Segments and Text Fragments has changed to give more freedom of personality
