Souls plugin introduces a unique life and revival mechanic inspired by soul-based gameplay systems, adding both risk and cooperation to survival.
Core Mechanic: Souls
Players begin with 3 souls.
When a player dies, they permanently lose 1 soul. Souls function as both a life counter and a power source.
Revival System
A dead player may be revived by another player.
To do so, the reviver must sacrifice one of their own souls, transferring it to the fallen ally.
This creates a balance between personal survival and team support.
Soul-Powered Abilities
The number of souls a player holds directly influences the abilities they can access.
More souls = greater powers, encouraging players to protect and manage them wisely.
At 0 souls, the player is permanently eliminated (or enters a ghost-like spectator state, depending on configuration).
Gameplay Impact
Encourages teamwork, as revivals require sacrifice.
Creates high-stakes combat, since dying chips away at limited souls.
Adds progression and customization, with soul count tied to ability unlocks.
