Sky Banker

A bank plugin for Paper servers inspired by Hypixel SkyBlock. Players can deposit and withdraw coins through a clean and easy to use GUI, unlock higher-tier bank accounts, earn interest on their savings, and view their complete transaction history. The plugin is fully customizable using config.yml and messages.yml.

✨ Features

• Personal bank account : Deposit/withdrawal and upgrade-menu.
• 7 Upgradaable account tiers : Start with a free starter account and work your way up to the palatial account, Each tier has its own balance limit and interest cap.
• Transactions based interest : Coins stored in the bank automatically earn interest every 31 hours. This interval can be changed in the configuration, and the interest is calculated automatically. Players can also view their projected interest in the information lore.
• Custom amount input : Use the “ Specific Amount ” option to enter any amount directly, with support for shortcuts such as 1k, 1.5m, and 2b.
• Transaction history : The last 20 deposits, withdrawals, and interest payouts are saved for each player, including the transaction type, amount, and timestamp.
• Leaderboard and rank lookup : Use /skybanker top to view the top 10 richest accounts, or use /skybanker user <player> to check player’s rank.
• PlaceholderAPI Support : Includes 9 placeholders for balance, purse, account tier, interest timer, and more.

/sb is a full alias for /skybanker, and both commands work the same way.

🔑 Permissions

🏷️ Placeholders

These placeholders require PlaceholderAPI. You can test them using:

%skybanker_purse%	Displays the player’s purse or wallet balance through Vault.
%skybanker_limit%	Displays the maximum balance allowed by the player’s current account tier.
%skybanker_level%	Displays the player’s current account tier, from 1 to 7.
%skybanker_account%	Displays the name of the player’s current account tier, such as Gold Account.
%skybanker_interest_timer%	Displays the time remaining until the next interest payout.
%skybanker_next_upgrade_cost%	Displays the cost of the next account upgrade, or MAX if the player has reached the highest tier.
%skybanker_space_left%	Displays how many coins can still be deposited before reaching the bank limit.
%skybanker_progress%	Displays the percentage of the bank balance limit currently filled.

⚙️ Configuration

The plugin is highly customizable, and you can change its appearance and behavior without modifying the code.

The config.yml file allows you to customize:

• Menu titles, sizes, and item positions.
• The material, display name, and lore of every menu item.
• Placeholders such as %balance%, %limit%, and %account%.
• All seven account tiers, including their upgrade cost, balance limit, interest limit, and lore.
• The default text shown in the sign editor when entering a custom amount.
• The interest interval, transaction history length, and quick-withdraw percentages.

All messages shown to players, including success messages, error messages, and upgrade notifications, are stored in messages.yml.

The message file supports & color codes and \n for multi-line messages.

📚 Built With

This plugin was built using the following APIs and libraries:

• Paper API — Used to interact with the Minecraft server.
• Vault — Connects the plugin to the server’s economy system.
• SignGUI by Rapha149 — is used for sign input in the 1.21.11, 26.1.x and 26.2 versions of the plugin. From 26.3 onward, including future Minecraft versions, the plugin uses Paper's built-in sign API instead, so SignGUI is no longer needed.
• SQLite JDBC — Used to save player data and transaction history.
• PlaceholderAPI — Adds optional support for placeholders in other plugins.
