OverEnchant

OverEnchant is a lightweight item customization plugin for Paper and Folia servers.

It lets you apply vanilla enchantments beyond their normal limits, create fully formatted item names and lore, and customize how feedback is shown to players through chat messages, action bars, titles, boss bars, sounds and particles.

Commands

/oe
/overenchant

Show the plugin help.

/oe enchant <enchantment> <level>

Apply an enchantment to the item in your main hand.

Example:

/oe enchant sharpness 10
/oe enchant minecraft:sharpness 255

/oe name <text>

Change the item name.

Example:

/oe name <gradient:#875CFF:#FF67D4><bold>Legendary Sword</bold></gradient>

/oe name clear

Remove the custom item name.

Lore

/oe lore add <text>
/oe lore set <line> <text>
/oe lore insert <line> <text>
/oe lore remove <line>
/oe lore clear
/oe lore list

Shortcuts are also available:

Reload

/oe reload

Reloads the configuration and active language file without restarting the server.

Formatting

OverEnchant supports MiniMessage formatting.

Example:

Configurable Feedback

Every main action can have its own visual and audio feedback.

Supported display types:

Languages

Language files are stored in:

plugins/OverEnchant/languages/

Available files:

en.yml
it.yml
es.yml
fr.yml

Every language can be fully edited.

Changes can be applied using:

/oe reload

Language hot reload can also be enabled from the config.

Compatibility

OverEnchant uses a single universal JAR across all supported versions.

Supported Minecraft versions:

1.20.1
1.21.11
26.1.2
26.2
26.3

Supported platforms:

Paper
Folia

Java requirements depend on the Minecraft/Paper version used by your server.

1.20.1 - 1.21.11 → Java 21
26.1.2 - 26.3    → Java 25

No separate builds are required.

Just use:

Installation

1. Download OverEnchant.jar.
2. Place it inside your server's plugins folder.
3. Start or restart the server.
4. Configure plugins/OverEnchant/config.yml if needed.
5. Use /oe.
