MapEasel

Put any image on in-game maps. /mapeasel create <url> [WxH] downloads the image async, scales it (aspect-preserving letterbox), splits it into 128px map tiles, and hands you the maps for item frames. Tiles persist as PNGs and re-attach after restarts. Size/filesize/timeout limits in config. Paper 1.21+/26.x, one jar.

Paper 1.21.11, 26.2 and 26.3 (runtime-tested, not just "it loads").
