In Lux Tangere, a block’s physical existence depends entirely on its light level.
If light reaches zero, the block stops existing physically.
When a block hits light level 0, it:
- ❌ Loses all collision
- 🌫 Becomes intangible
- ⬇ Allows players and entities to fall through it
This is not a tweak. This is a rewrite of Minecraft’s physical laws.
🎮 How the Mechanic Works
The Principle
- Blocks with light = 0 → Intangible (you fall through them)
- Blocks with light > 0 → Tangible (normal behavior)

Dark Cave:
You enter a cave without artificial lighting.
