InvincibleBlocks

InvincibleBlocks protects defined areas from grief (blocks, pistons, hoppers, enderpearls, elytra) and persists settings across restarts. It includes an in-game GUI to toggle per-area flags like openable chests, enderpearling, and elytraing.

InvincibleBlocks is a lightweight area protection plugin that lets administrators define rectangular claims and control specific in-claim behavior. Each claim can block block damage, piston movement, hopper transfers, and restrict movement-based grief (enderpearls, elytra). Settings are adjustable in-game via a simple inventory GUI and persist across server restarts.

Key features

Define rectangular protected areas by coordinates and ID. Per-area flags: allow/deny openable chests, enderpearl entry, elytra entry, piston movement, and hopper transfers. In-game Settings GUI (/invinciblesettings) to toggle flags; mark a chest as “openable” by looking at it and clicking the GUI item. Settings and areas persist in the plugin config so changes survive server restarts. Admin commands to create and remove areas; operators are exempt from protections by default. How to use (overview)

Install: place the built JAR in the server’s plugins folder and restart. Create a claim (operator): /invincibleblocks x1 y1 z1 x2 y2 z2 ID — this registers the area and saves it to config. Open the settings UI (operator): /invinciblesettings — use the GUI buttons to toggle per-area rules. To mark a chest as openable, stand within the claim, look at the chest, and click the “Openable Chest” item. Remove a claim (operator): /removeinvincible ID. Persistence: all claim coordinates and flags are stored in config.yml and reloaded automatically on server start. Administration tips

Test changes on a small temporary claim before applying to important areas. Back up config.yml before bulk edits or mass removals. For production servers, restrict GUI access with permissions (recommended) rather than leaving it operator-only if you need finer control. Consider adding a quick chat command that prints an area’s current flags for faster debugging or enabling an auto-deop timer if temporary operator access is needed for testing.
