Storm-powered movement and progression for Spigot, Paper, and Purpur servers.

Turn thunderstorms into gameplay

CelestialDash adds a lightweight progression loop for Survival, SMP, RPG, and Skyblock-style servers.

Players can obtain Celestial Tears during thunderstorms, spend them on fast aerial dashes, and craft a Celestial Amulet for emergency purification.

Player Features

• Celestial Tears — obtain Tears during thunderstorms.

• Wind Dash — hold a Celestial Tear in your main hand and right-click to dash forward.

• Double Dash — perform a second dash within the combo window for additional movement and temporary fall-damage protection.

• Optional custom resource pack — gives Tears and Amulets their own pixel-art appearance without replacing vanilla Ghast Tears or Nautilus Shells.

• Celestial Amulet — craft it with 4 Celestial Tears and 1 Netherite Ingot to remove configured harmful effects and extinguish fire.

Server Owner Controls

• Per-player storm-drop chances and cooldowns.
• Choose whether generated Tears go to the ground or directly to the eligible player's inventory.
• Safe handling when an inventory is full.
• World blacklists for drops and dashes.
• Configurable dash strength, lift, cooldowns, particles, sounds, trails, and double-dash multipliers.
• Configurable Amulet uses, cooldown, and removable potion effects.
• Optional PlaceholderAPI integration.
• Optional server-managed resource-pack delivery with SHA-1 validation and decline/download-failure logging.

Installation

1. Download the latest CelestialDash JAR.
2. Put it in your server's plugins folder.
3. Restart the server.
4. Configure plugins/CelestialDash/config.yml.
5. Run /celestialdash reload after configuration changes.

The bundled resource pack is disabled by default. Enable it only if you want the custom item appearance.
