This item functions as a light source similar to torches, and is used for a few recipes.
Revival Charm Recipe
This item functions similar to the "Totem of Undying", in which it fully heals you if you were to die. You don't need to hold it, merely keep it somewhere in your inventory.
Beacon Recipe
This functions similar to beacons in current Minecraft. It merely has a different recipe.
Obsidian Ingot Recipe
Obsidian Scrap is obtained by mining standard Obsidian blocks.
Blaze Rod Recipe
This is a "shapeless" recipe. You simply need to place two Blaze Powders and a Fire Charge in the crafting grid.
Obsidian Tools Recipe
All Obsidian tools utilize Blaze Rods instead of Sticks.
