A hardcore, post-apocalyptic dark fantasy modpack.

Civilization has collapsed into folklore. Magic, dimensional intrusions, and a race of beings called Illagers have invaded the world. The world is persistent and unforgiving. Players are locked to Hardcore mode with no standard respawning. Death has lasting consequences, and progress depends on preparation rather than speed or power.

Apocalypse

🌒 Survival Is the Core System

Gameplay stays close to vanilla at the start—movement, tools, and exploration feel familiar—but survival systems are expanded. Players must manage:

Thirst
Temperature
Sanity
Limb damage and injury

🗺️ The World Pushes Back

Villages and settlements are persistent systems, not loot hubs. Stealing affects NPC behavior over time. Many containers are locked and require lockpicking. Reputation and aggression have consequences.

Travel is intentionally slower:

Vanilla boats are disabled
Ocean travel requires proper ships
Dimensions are gated and reworked

🌌 Explore an overhauled Nether, Aether, and End which are all fully realized as their own complete dimensions. The End requires 12 unique forgotten eyes to access. It is no longer a quick boss rush.

🪄 Magic

Magic is not an early game convenience. It is something you earn through survival, risk, and time spent learning systems that were never meant to be controlled.

You can raise and command minions. Bind spirits. Work through ritual. Brew, curse, and manipulate forces outside the natural order.

Some paths lean toward traditional witchcraft, with circles, poppets, and preparation. Others pull from darker places, like necromancy and control over what should stay dead.

If you last long enough, things start to change.

Dragon

☠️ Death Is Not the End

Death removes you from the world. Returning always comes at a cost—distance, help, or transformation.

👻 Ghost: You become a wandering spirit, able to drift and follow the living. Ascend 400 blocks to reincarnate far from where you fell.
🧟‍♂️ Infection: Die while infected and your body rises as a zombie. Cure yourself with a Golden Apple...because if you do not, tou are trapped inside of your body—forced to watch—until it is destroyed.
🟡 Golden Apples possess the power to cure the zombie virus & revive your friend's corpses. Enchanted golden apples can return a player to their human form if corrupted. Always keep a few on you in case of death.
🫱🏾‍🫲🏿🍏 Multiplayer Revival: Craft Totems of Undying, Resurrection, & Wormhole. Have a friend feed your corpse a Golden Apple to be restored at your corpse. Feeding your corpse a Wither Rose will restore you with a vampiric curse.
