Forge, Mods, Scripts, Resources & Data:
- Updated Forge to v47.4.5
- "Controlling" mod (Utility)
- "Sit" mod (Fun)
- Significant backend code revisions
- Updated any outdated mods
- Updated default options / binds / configuration
Gameplay, Items & Logic:
- Food is now always edible even at full hearts (Matches beta)
- Revised mob spawning logic for both passive and hostile
- Hostile mobs are now able to spawn in a light level of 7 or lower (Matches beta)
- Increased passive mob spawn counts, adjusted group sizes, adjusted maximum and minimum groups
- Minor changes and improvements to world generation
- Minor changes and improvements to structure generation
- Modified collisions for a handful of blocks
- Mushroom Soup now heals three(3) hearts
- White Apple now only heals two(2) hearts
- Ambrosium shards now heal half(0.5) of a heart
- Candy canes now heals half(0.5) of a heart
- Maze Wafer now heals three(3) hearts
- Modified dyed wool recipes to match the way other items in the game are dyed
Audio & Visual:
- Significant improvements to biome border calculations
- Changes to a few textures for consistiency
- Changes to texts for consistiency
- Revised biome temperature algorithms (biome sky / fog color stuff AGAIN ARGG)
- Reorganized / resorted REI menu
- Modified full block outlines for a handful of blocks
Bug fixes:
- Fixed buried treasure sometimes not spawning
- Fixed glitchy behaviour when jumping on or around fences and walls
- Fixed custom furnaces not stacking after being mined / picked up
- Fixed a few unwanted / useless structures from spawning (wells, ruins)
- Fixed music modifications being disabled
- Fixed mountable entity icons appearing in incorrect position
- Fixed typo causing custom clay soldier textures to not load
Known issues / Things I do not have a solution for:
- Spawners containing removed entities still generate (How do I swap the NBT data for existing spawners in the world) (BIGGEST ISSUE CURRENTLY PLS HELP)
- A very very small handful of removed blocks may spawn from structures (lag, or some weird optimization may be cause this?)
- Walking off of a bed into a fluid makes you sink into that fluid instantly
- Current method of removing statistics is just blanking out the entry in the lang files
- Spam crouching in third person bugs out the camera a little
- Ambrosium shards play the eating animation when consumed
- Raw death message "death.fell.accident.water" when falling from too high and dying in water
- Sometimes custom tooltips will duplicate, appearing twice
Hoping to work on in the future:
- More support for worlds that are not the default preset (structures, colors, textures)
- Make all modded stairs and chests in inventory face classic orientation
- Remove all achievements and recreate the beta 1.7.3 achievement web
- Change hardness for functional blocks properly
- Make wooden slabs not flammable properly
- Classic model matching for MISC modded blocks and items (Aether, Twilight Forest)
- Deep Aether Mod? / Aether Lost Content Mod?
