- Added a new "tips" system
- In certain occasions, players will now receive tips in chat about certain features or mechanics from Overly-Realistic
- The current tips shown are:
- A tip informing players they can dynamically sleep on the ground when its night time
- A tip informing downed players that they are currently downed and can receive help from other players (this was added in a previous update but now falls under this system)
- A tip shown after around 15 seconds of playtime, informing the player that they can go through the advancements tab to get a better grasp of Overly-Realistic's mechanics & progression
- A tip shown when players get ill, informing them about it
- Added a 'Tips' setting
- This setting controls if tips should be sent to players
- This setting is enabled by default
- Added new 'Hog Hide' items
- This includes all hide variants (gory hog hide, scraped hog hide, doused hog hide)
- Added a 'Cave-in Sounds' setting
- When enabled, crumbling blocks will play sounds
- This setting is disabled by default
- Added a 'Cave-in Particles' setting
- When enabled, crumbling blocks will display particles
- This setting is disabled by default
- Expanded upon how the player is meant to forge heated wrought iron into iron items
- When hammering the heated wrought iron with a forging hammer, a "target" shape will appear above the heated wrought iron
- Players must now hammer the target shown, and whenever they do, the target will change positions randomly within the block
- Blacksmithing levels 2 & 4 will now make it so players are able to hammer heated wrought iron blocks faster, as to aid the player with the effort of the new system
- The placed heated wrought iron's hitbox is now slightly shorter
- The placed heated wrought iron will no longer drop itself if its broken by a creative mode player
- Modified leather/iron/copper horse armors
- Such items now have durability and can get damaged
- These items now contain additional data
- Iron and copper horse armors have had their attributes improved/buffed
- Some, previously missing, items have been added to the creative menu, these are:
- Copper hammer head
- Copper knife head
- All gory hides
- All scraped/regular hides
- All doused hides
- The sharpened flint model is now displayed differently in first person while the player is rotating it
- It is now shown centered in the middle of the screen and is now held upright instead of on an incline
- Changed the conditions of getting cobblestone/cobbled deepslate from ores depending on mining levels
- Coal ores
- Level 0-1: 15% chance of getting a block instead of an ore
- Level 2: 6.5% chance of getting a block instead of an ore
- Copper ores
- Level 0: 30% chance of getting a block instead of an ore
- Level 1: 25% chance of getting a block instead of an ore
- Level 2: 16.5% chance of getting a block instead of an ore
- Level 3: 5% chance of getting a block instead of an ore
- Iron ores
- Level 0: 35% chance of getting a block instead of an ore
- Level 1: 25% chance of getting a block instead of an ore
- Level 2: 12.5% chance of getting a block instead of an ore
- Level 3: 8% chance of getting a block instead of an ore
- Gold ores
- Level 0: 40% chance of getting a block instead of an ore
- Level 1: 33% chance of getting a block instead of an ore
- Level 2: 25% chance of getting a block instead of an ore
- Level 3: 10% chance of getting a block instead of an ore
- Level 3: 2.5% chance of getting a block instead of an ore
- Diamond ores
- Level 0: 30% chance of getting a block instead of an ore
- Level 1: 25% chance of getting a block instead of an ore
- Level 2: 18% chance of getting a block instead of an ore
- Level 3: 8% chance of getting a block instead of an ore
- Coal ores
- Gold ores now have a higher chance of dropping gold ore regardless of mining level if they were mined in hot biomes (such as badlands, deserts, savannas, etc)
- Exhausted animals will now display particles around them
- Animals' health have been decreased and their attack damage has been increased
- Changed how animals flee from players
- Animals will continue fleeing for a small amount of time after they encounter a player, even if they outrun the player initially
- Animals' player checks are now per-animal instead of global
- Increased the amount of fuel each type of item adds to campfires
- tier 0 fuel (sticks, leaf litters, vines, etc): was +8, now its +16
- tier 1 fuel (logs, planks, wool, etc): was +50, now its +75
- tier 2 fuel (coal, charcoal, etc): was +200, now its +380
- Lava buckets can no longer be used as fuel for campfires
- Changed the texture of the heated wrought iron forging HUD
- Changed some text sections' colors from the main Overly Realistic menus
- Copper and reinforced iron armor are now able to play the armor running sounds
- The tooltip shown above placed tool handles now displays what items are accepted by the handle for each step
- Tweaked the texture of the tribal mask item
- Tweaked the dough texture
- Multiple changes have been made to forging hammers and hammer heads
- Changed the textures of the hammer head and the forging hammer
- Forging hammers now use the textures of the items (cordage/adhesive/handle) they were made with
- Tuff is now broken quicker (than before) when harvesting it with pickaxes
- Removed some unused files
- Tweaked the heated wrought iron item texture
- Changed the texture of the sharpened bone
- Changed the item texture of the bone flute
- The item ID used for the potato has been changed
- Optimized animal fleeing checks
- Fixed the healthcare level 3, 4, and 5 wisdom skill advancements being malformatted
- Fixed an anvil recipe incompatibility issue
- Fixed stone and copper tools not having proper tool data
- Fixed a potential item usage issue
- Fixed potatoes not being able to be cooked into a baked potato
- (Note: This might not work for potatoes acquired in versions previous to this one)
- Fixed the gory ocelot hide and doused ocelot hide items not having proper textures
- Fixed deepslate diamond ores turning into deepslate redstone ores if gravity was applied to them
- Fixed sulfur not dropping from deepslate gold ores
- Fixed players still playing armor-related sounds when sprinting while on 0 stamina
- Fixed animals being able to glide through the air when fleeing
- Fixed fish being able to flee while not in water
- Fixed certain sounds not being directional, this includes:
- Players' breathe-in & breathe-out sounds
- The bone flute playing sound
- The heated wrought iron forging sounds
- The wooden drum playing sound
- Added new advancements and changed existing advancements
- Added a new easter egg advancement
- Added the "Iron Target" advancement -> Hammer the target shape shown above a heated wrought iron
- Added the "Beating Beats" advancement -> Craft a wooden drum
- Added the "Fuel It" advancement -> Fuel a campfire
- Added the "Persistence Hunting" advancement -> Damage an exhausted animal
- Added additional images to the following advancements' descriptions:
- "Helping Hand"
- "Monkey see, Monkey Do"
- "Flipping It"
- "Woody"
- "Booming Flour"
- "Such Purity"
- "Has Waterskin in the Game"
- "All Bark No Bite"
- "Tribesman"

- The advancements that were previously children of the "Forging Fanatic" advanancement are now children of the "Iron Target" advancement
- Changed the color scheme of the "The Start of a New Forge" advancement
- Changed the icons of all wisdom skill level advancements
- Tweaked the descriptions of the following advancements:
