  • Added a new "tips" system
    • In certain occasions, players will now receive tips in chat about certain features or mechanics from Overly-Realistic
    • The current tips shown are:
      • A tip informing players they can dynamically sleep on the ground when its night time
      • A tip informing downed players that they are currently downed and can receive help from other players (this was added in a previous update but now falls under this system)
      • A tip shown after around 15 seconds of playtime, informing the player that they can go through the advancements tab to get a better grasp of Overly-Realistic's mechanics & progression
      • A tip shown when players get ill, informing them about it
  • Added a 'Tips' setting

    • This includes all hide variants (gory hog hide, scraped hog hide, doused hog hide)

    • When hammering the heated wrought iron with a forging hammer, a "target" shape will appear above the heated wrought iron
    • Players must now hammer the target shown, and whenever they do, the target will change positions randomly within the block
    • Blacksmithing levels 2 & 4 will now make it so players are able to hammer heated wrought iron blocks faster, as to aid the player with the effort of the new system
  • The placed heated wrought iron's hitbox is now slightly shorter
  • The placed heated wrought iron will no longer drop itself if its broken by a creative mode player
  • Modified leather/iron/copper horse armors
    • Such items now have durability and can get damaged
    • These items now contain additional data
    • Iron and copper horse armors have had their attributes improved/buffed
  • Some, previously missing, items have been added to the creative menu, these are:
    • Copper hammer head
    • Copper knife head
    • All gory hides
    • All scraped/regular hides
    • All doused hides
  • The sharpened flint model is now displayed differently in first person while the player is rotating it
    • It is now shown centered in the middle of the screen and is now held upright instead of on an incline
  • Changed the conditions of getting cobblestone/cobbled deepslate from ores depending on mining levels
    • Coal ores
      • Level 0-1: 15% chance of getting a block instead of an ore
      • Level 2: 6.5% chance of getting a block instead of an ore

    • Animals will continue fleeing for a small amount of time after they encounter a player, even if they outrun the player initially

  • Increased the amount of fuel each type of item adds to campfires
    • tier 0 fuel (sticks, leaf litters, vines, etc): was +8, now its +16
    • tier 1 fuel (logs, planks, wool, etc): was +50, now its +75

  • Lava buckets can no longer be used as fuel for campfires

  • Added an extra random sound that is heard randomly by low sanity players
  • Changed the drum sound
  • Expanded on how the wooden drum can be used
    • Using items like bones or sticks, or crouching, or using a mix of both of those things, when playing the wooden drum, will now affect the pitch of the drum sound
  • Expanded on how the bone flute can be used
    • Crouching while using the flute will now change its pitch
  • Changed how the player's arms are rotated while using the bone flute
  • Changed the bone flute model
    • Bone flutes now use a different model while its in a player's hands (differing from being in the GUI or an item on the ground/on a item frame)
    • Bone flutes now appear differently when the player is using them
  • Changed the player's breathing sound
    • This applies to the sounds heard when the player is running low on stamina
  • Changed the bellow's pump-in and pump-out sound
  • Changed the sound made when players hammer heated wrought iron
  • Changed the sound used for when a player who previously was underwater, exits the water
    • The player will now play a gasp sound
  • If a player exits water while they're low on oxygen, a deep gasp sound is now played
  • The following sounds now have proper subtitle support:
    • Players' breathe-in & breathe-out sounds

    • The heated wrought iron's hammering sound
    • The bellow's pump-in & pump-out sounds
  • Future resourcepack-out-of-date messages will now include a link to the modrinth download page for the resourcepack
  • Optimized the gravity & cave-in systems' block-support checks
  • Fixed being able to dupe infinite heated blooms
  • Fixed various item data issues due to a wrongful data update
    • (NOTE: This might not affected various types of items if they were created in a previous version!)
    • This has caused certain items to turn edible, be able to naturally lose durability, be able to become unusable, etc
  • Fixed gory hides not dropping themselves if placed inside the same block as another gory (or scraped) hide
  • Fixed knifes not having a proper texture if they were made with resin clumps
