Summary

This update is mostly here to fix a few bugs, to fix textures and show you how we've improved the jungle so far. We are releasing this beta earlier then we tought, this is because we have been having some difficulties with our developers! We are offcialy looking for someone ot help us if you are interested give bananapowers a DM on discord.

Summary

In this update we added a few all new exciting plants: Swiss cheese plant, duckweed, Shell Ginger and hanging vines. We also included a few parts of the cycad woodset that missed the last release: the boat, chest boat and trapdoor are still missing. We changed a lot of old textures to new ones, some experimental, some long planned like the capybara texture update. This Beta also includes a brand new mob the Orangutan do note that the mob has no functionality right now!

Issues and known bugs

• The mod is currently undergoing a massive texture update all our textures models and other assets are being updated and modernised please excuse some weird textures.
• The orangutan uses an old model that is older than the newer texture we use during development for this reason the orangutan's appearance is bugged.

summary

This new beta adds the pineapple crop with all its stages and the pineapple smoothie that gives speed, regeneration and absorption. This beta also includes the wild pineapple flower, but what steals the show in this Beta is the cycad plant/tree it's a tree that works differently than the other trees in Minecraft being that the entire thing is kind of like bamboo. The cycad tree also comes with logs stripped logs and it's intire woodset.

How pineapple works/will work: You find the pineapple flower in the jungle then place it down and let it get pollinated. Bee polination

After circling a flower for more than 400 ticks, a bee collects pollen. However, if the bee gets damaged, it ceases its pollination efforts. A bee carrying pollen changes its texture to include pollen spots on its abdomen and drops pollen particles to fertilize plants below the bee.

The cherry grove upgrade

New features

• added lealeaf a new decorational plant
• added cattails a new semi-aquatic decorational plant

Generation changes

• added podzol and coarse dirt as new parts to the ground generation of the cherry grove
• added bamboo generation to the cherry grove
• made more grass generate in the cherry grove
• added lealeaf generation to the cherry grove
• added cattail generation to the cherry grove near bodies of water
• fixed some bugs regarding pond generation in the cherry grove
• upgraded pond generation in the cherry grove

New capybara features

• added capybara spawning naturally in the cherry grove up to 10 blocks away from water in the cherry grove and jungle biomes
• added the feature to lay down to the capybara
• made that capybara be able to breed

breeds with:Carrots, bamboo, lealeaf plant, melon slices

• made the capybara pathfind to water to chill in
• made the capybara's head move
• added sounds to the capybara
• added a new walking animation to the capybara
• capybara can pick up it's babies when it wants and can put them down when it wants
• when sitting in water the capybara can be fed a golden carrot to instantly heal the player to full health
• when it rains the capybara will turn all grass blocks below it into mud

issues and known problems

• podzol generation can stack ontop of each other creating unnatural geneneration (fixed in newer builds)
• capybara chill effect coming soon
• capybara is not supposed to change all blocks into mud it is supposed to have a chance (being fixed soon)
