VORTEX Foundations - Miscellaneous Polish
alpha1 февраля 2026 г.This is a critical Alpha. Even though still not intended for surival, as made clear by the new disclaimer in the main menu, it is nevertheless possible.
Re-Enabled smelting ores by furnace. Technically, you could try making a survival playthrough then, but it's not how it's intended to be...
Well, here we are again with nice polishing! Visible ravagers, QoL Certus recipes, new snow patterns in the arctic, new foundry placement... And custom engraved groove with Create Harmonics.
This, all in all, is a very all-over-the-place kind of update. Fixing problems and adding new ones: Like 200 MB of libraries in order for custom music discs to work.
I'm waiting on Create: Metallurgy as much as you are, the dev says they'll try to release it in February.
With that, I'll try to get the update as soon as possible by integrating the new features and finishing up the renewed steel. In the meantime, enjoy Clockwork and Interactive!

VORTEX Foundations - Refueled Evermore
alpha23 января 2026 г.Welcome back Create Diesel Generators! A lot has changed in this alpha, mostly the removal of good old TFMG. It was too buggy and tedious for the modpack's vision.
As such, CDG returns, prettier than last time. I've additionally tweaked the values of its fuels, which is incredibly prone to change. Make a reasonable car and tell me if the fuel lasts long enough for it to be fun!
The progression still doesn't work, but the modpack is actually playable in this state. Please, wait for the next 2.7 beta if you wish to experience the true VF stuff... In the meantime, enjoy!

VORTEX Foundations - Freedom of Movement
release18 января 2026 г.This is a pretty rough release to fix a bug where players cannot move in dedicated servers due to Valkyrien Skies. As such, this version does not contain it.
This is only a temporary fix for dedicated servers, stay on 2.6.14 if you wish to keep playing with VS!

This update brings a handful of fixes, but there's still much to go.
Sorry for the 3 reuploads, the better pause menu was not, in fact, better. But I fixed it, and now it IS better!
