Cross-dimensional flavorful teleportation. No forced chunk loading. Uses vanilla blocks and items.
Tome of Town Portal

Sneak + Use = set "Town" location (applies to all tomes, only one location can be set at a time)
Use = Open portal to "Town" in front of the player. Sufficient space is required, or nothing will happen. A return portal is also opened at the "Town" location. Entering the return portal will close both portals. Can be opened below oneself while falling down, but mind the fall damage.
Recipe (unshaped)
2 x Lapis Lazuli
1 x Book

Since it's a technically still a book, it can be put into bookshelves.
Scroll of Linking

Used to create Ley Lines. Creating a Ley Line is a three step process, the scroll's description will update as you go through these steps:
- Use scroll on a block you want to create a portal on. A Ley Line block (cherry log with an empty flower pot) will appear in that place.
- Use that scroll on another block. A second Ley Line block will appear in that place.
- Return to the first Ley Line block and use the scroll on it again - this will finish the linking, the Ley Line will activate, and the scroll will be consumed. The pots will grow lilies and become interactable. Interact with the lily pot at the Ley Line block to teleport to the other side. The exit location and angle depends on the angle the Ley Line blocks were created from.
While in the middle of the linking process, you can Sneak + Use the scroll to reset it to default state and remove already placed Ley Line blocks.
Breaking an activated Ley Line block will break the block on the other side too, thus destroying the Ley Line.
