Makeshift armor is an early game armor set with protection comparable to leather. It has just a helmet and a chestplate, and receives wooden embellishments.
Makeshift armor can receive embellishments from various wood and slimewood types.
The chisel is an early game mining tool. It can be crafted using flint and a stick in a 2x2 crafting window allowing mining stone before making your first pickaxe. Has unique upgrades and the exchanging trait.
Blowdarts are a new ranged weapon crafted from paper and bamboo. They are fast and high accuracy, but fire arrows at low velocity. They cannot have their drawspeed or power upgraded like bows, instead they have unique upgrades granting potion effects.
Some people really love shovels. While Tinkers' Construct provides mattocks, excavators, and pickadzes, the classic round shape is a fan favorite. Shovels are weaker than their digging counterparts, but make up for it in extra upgrade slots.
Shortbows are a new bow variant. They let you charge into battle at nearly full speed while drawing back, at the cost of limited arrow accuracy and velocity.
The halberd is a broad reach weapon, with the inherent reach trait. Its also good for charging at your enemies using the speedy modifier.
Amethyst Staffs are a staff variant created in the anvil from bow parts, allowing it to receive both variable ranged stats along with ranged traits.
Laminar armor is a mid game defensive armor set made from 2 armor plating and a shield core (adding several unique traits). It is similar in quality to diamond, and unlike plate armor it starts with an ability slot.
Middle tier shield variant with 5 defense slots, 2 upgrade slots, and 0 ability slots. Can be dyed, embellished, and receive overgrowth like the armor set.
Laminar armor is created with multiple armor plating plus a shield core for more variety in armor decoration.
Hematite is a new tier 4 tool material alloyed from obsidian, iron, and debris. It grants 2 upgrade slots at the cost of big debuffs. Veinline is a composite of hematite on string, granting 1 upgrade slot at the cost of accuracy.
Large repair kits are like regular repair kits, but bigger. They cost 8 ingots worth of material to create, and repair 9 ingots worth of durability, meaning they grant a small durability bonus for repairing so much.
Silky sacks are a modifiable bag item. They start with no modifier slots and 9 inventory slots, and for every upgrade and ability slot you receive through extra modifiers, they can get additional slots.
