Thirst and Quenched

Thirst is the bar. Quenched is a reserve that drains first, like saturation for hunger. Running, fighting and the Nether all make the bar empty faster.

Water Quality

Water is graded Dirty, Murky, Clean or Pure by where it was collected. Bad water can cause Nausea, Hunger or Poison. Sea water will be salty and never quenches thirst.

Boil It Clean

A furnace or a campfire raises the grade of bottles, buckets and bowls. Rain and dripstone fill cauldrons with clean water for free.

Bowls and Waterskins

Clay bowls fire into terracotta bowls that scoop from any water. The waterskin carries three drinks in one slot. Each container shows what it holds.
