TempElytra

Minecraft Java Plugin for WorldGuard that adds a flag allowing players to start flying without an elytra! Compatible with 1.21+.

Installation

1. Download WorldEdit, WorldGuard, and TempElytra for your preferred version.
2. Place the .jar files into your server's plugins folder.
3. Start the server and enjoy!

Requirements

• WorldGuard (requires WorldEdit)
• Minecraft version 1.21 or higher

How to use

1. Mark a region using WorldEdit's wand (right-click one corner, left-click the opposite corner).
2. Create a region using WorldGuard: /rg create <region> <player> or use an existing one.
3. Set the flag: /rg flag <region> start-glide-without-elytra allow.
4. Fall at least 1.1 blocks in the region to start gliding.
5. Press "Switch Hotbar" to boost.

Important notice

• Make the region slightly larger than the intended area so players cannot jump out without entering glide mode.

Config Options

• boost — Boost multiplier applied when launching or boosting.
• max-boosts — Maximum free boosts available (use by pressing Switch Hotbar).
• allow-sneak-cancel — Allow players to cancel flying with TempElytra midair.
• min-fall-distance — Define which falldistance to trigger Elytra
