SYLA (Staining Your Life Away)
This mod brings a more natural feel to the vanilla woods using Stains. Players must harvest stripped logs of: Acacia, Birch, Cherry, Dark Oak, Jungle, Mangrove, Oak, and Spruce to Blast into Pulp to make each Stain.

Blasting Acacia Pulp
Pulp and Stripped Logs are 1 to 1 ratio, but to make the Stain you need 8 Pulp.
All of the Stained Pulps
The Pulps are grouped together in the Blast Furnace Recipe Book.
Crafting Dark Oak Stain.
Basic Stain recipe, 8 Pulp, 1 Empty Bottle.
Stains are grouped together under Crafting Recipe Book.
Along with the Stains being grouped together, the pieces are grouped together too. All slabs, all stairs, all doors, etc., etc.
After Crafting a Stain, grab any slab!
Any slabs you have just laying around, put them to use! Yes, any slab! Add it to the grid with the Stain and craft that version of Stained Slab.
Crafting a Stained Oak Block
Recipes do not match equally with vanilla recipes, but they are fairly balanced.
Still just using any Slabs, plus Glass Panes.
Basic Door Recipe, add Glass Panes, Stain, 4 Slabs.
Other recipes are very similar to vanilla recipes.
Slabs are half blocks, so this recipe is almost exactly like vanilla Fence recipes, just slabs instead of blocks.
Fences and Fence Gate recipes are like the vanilla counterparts.
The only exception to the vanilla recipe, besides using Slabs, is the addition of the Stain.
Crafting Birch Stained Stairs
Crafting Birch Stained Stairs: 8 Slabs of any vanilla wood + 1 Birch Stain = 2 Birch Stained Stairs.
Trapdoors are close to vanilla too, minus the Iron Ingot.
Including the Iron Ingot covers Hinges and Metal trim for Barrels and Trapdoors, but still a fairly cheap cost.
