The Speedrunner Spear

• A new spear, which has a reach distance of 5.5 blocks (1 block longer than normal spears with a 4.5 block reach)
  • Has a 7 block reach in creative mode.
  • Falls right in the middle of iron and diamond spears, in terms of item durability and damage.
• Additionally, the speedrunner spear gives increased momemtum from the lunge enchantment.
• Crafted like any normal spear, with a speedrunner ingot.
• Can be found natrually in village weaponsmith chests and buried treasure chests.

The Golden Speedrunner Spear

• Similar to the speedrunner spear, the golden speedrunner spear has a reach distance of 6 blocks, and a creative reach of 7 blocks.
  • Similar durability of golden speedrunner tools.
• This also gives even more increased momemtum from the lunge enchantment.
• Crafted with a golden smithing upgrade template from a golden spear (and a speedrunner ingot).
• Can be found in bastion treasure chests.

Retired Speedrunner Changes

• Retired speedrunners now sell ominous bottles in place of the withered enchantment.

Dragons Aura Changes

• When using the dragon's aura effect to save the player from the void, the effect will be removed after 30 seconds.
  • Additionally, the player will receive a message about their dragon's aura status.

Inventory Preserver Changes

• New, brighter texture for the inventory preserver!

Goliath Changes

• Renamed the "Goliath" advancement to "David and Goliath".
• Shooting at Goliath when he is at half health will now heal him based on how much health he has.
  • The less health he has, the more he can heal from the arrow.
• Attempting to hit Goliath with any spear (including speedrunner spears) will drastically damage the player.

Feature Screens

• Removed the built-in feature screens. A wiki page is soon coming for the mod.
  • The "first time playing" screen and "secret doom mode" screens still remain.

Other Changes

• Doom block loot is now an actual loot table.
  • Tweaked the loot that you can get from doom blocks.
  • Additionally, doom blocks now have a 22-32% chance to drop loot for each time that you break it (previously a flat 10%).
• Buffed ominous trial chamber loot even more.
• Renamed the "Speedrunner Mod" item group to "The Speedrunner Mod".
• Updated "Playing Mode" debug entry to "Mode".
• Tweaked lang files and tooltip translations.

Bugs Fixed

• Fixed bug where using a speedrunner's workbench to upgrade a golden tool to a speedrunner tool triggers the "One Step Ahead" advancement.
• Fixed bug where faster smelting does not fully work.
• Fixed other random bugs.
