Want to add some lore to your survival world? With Simple Lore datapack it only takes a few simple steps:

Adding lore

• drop an item on an anvil
• drop a renamed paper on the anvil
• right click on the anvil

The paper name will be added as a line to the item lore. You can use several sheets to create a truly huge text! As long as it fits on your screen.

Removing lore

• drop an item on a grindstone
• right click on the grindstone

All lines will be removed.

On versions below 1.20.5 you don't need to right-click on blocks, lore will be added or removed automatically.

Your lore will look like this:

Additional information

The datapack uses Version Detector by AndrewGaming587. You can download Version Detector and Simple Lore separately (recommended) or, if you're feeling lazy, Simple Lore with built-in Detector as a single datapack.

Without Version Detector, Simple Lore may not work on versions below 1.21 and may work incorrectly on 1.21+
