Silent Witness

A subtle accountability system where players voluntarily mark themselves as witnesses to events using a command. Witness marks are invisible during gameplay but store timestamp data and the player's name.

Use an investigation command to reveal all witness marks within range from the past configurable time period (default 24 hours). If someone's base is griefed, nearby witnesses can be identified. If rare events occur, players who witnessed them are recorded.

Marking is opt-in, but anyone can investigate—creating interesting social dynamics. Marks auto-expire after the configured duration. No visual effects, persistent entities, or heavy data storage. Enables community-driven moderation and storytelling with minimal performance impact.
