Recruits Morale Addon

Adds a morale value (0–100) to every entity from the Recruits mod.

Morale is reduced whenever a recruit takes damage, morale loss scales with the actual damage amount not hit count, heavy hits cause larger morale shocks than light hits.

Recruits lose morale slower as they become more experienced.

Morale loss can depend on who is fighting whom

Examples:Archers fear cavalry charges, Cavalry fear spears and polearms, Spearmen remain calm against cavalry, Infantry is confident against archers.

Recruits regenerate morale faster when near friendly recruits, this encourages formation fighting and group cohesion, bonus is capped to prevent stacking abuse and panic disables this bonus.

When a nearby recruit dies, allies instantly lose morale, more experienced recruits are less affected, this allows panic to spread naturally in losing battles.

Morale regenerates slowly over time and regeneration is blocked for a configurable delay after taking damage, healing, food, or regeneration effects do not restore morale, this prevents morale recovery during active combat.

Recruits enter panic when morale drops below a threshold and panicking recruits:

Ignore player orders.

Break formation.

Retreat away from threats.

Panic ends only after morale recovers past a safe threshold

Visual Morale Bar displays a morale bar above recruits’ heads and is only visible while holding a keybind.

The mod is server and multiplayer safe and tested.

Epic knights and its addon weapons are supported for unit type matchmaking.
