This update focuses on making ender pearl physics feel natural and eliminating false "Unsafe Location" detections.
🚀 Key Improvements
- Vanilla Impact Physics: Removed the artificial
+1.0 Ynormalization. Players now teleport to the exact impact point with a tiny directional offset to prevent clipping, mimicking vanilla behavior. - Smart Void Detection: Fixed a bug where hitting high vertical walls (towers, mountains) triggered a false "Unsafe Location" due to the void protection system. The system now recognizes adjacent solid structures.
- Low Ceiling Support: You can now pearl into 2-block high spaces and tunnels without being blocked by safety checks.
🛠️ Technical Fixes
- Refactored
SecurityUtil.javato include a proximity block check for vertical surfaces. - Updated
PearlRefundUtil.javato allow feet-level block overlap as long as the head-level area is breathable. - Compatibility confirmed for Minecraft 1.8.x up to 1.21.x.

Version v1.5 has been successfully compiled! All reported critical bugs have been resolved, and the plugin has been optimized for professional server environments.
🛠️ Bug Fixes (1.21.4+)
- Fix: False "Unsafe Location" Detections: Implemented Impact Location Normalization (Internal Floor). The plugin now correctly identifies the player's ground level in 1.21.4+, eliminating false positives on flat terrain.
- Fix: Movement & Double Pearls: Optimized the full-body validation (detecting both feet and head) to allow natural landings even if the player is jumping or moving during impact.
- Fix: Ignored Cooldown Bug: Fixed a logic error where the cooldown was applied and cancelled events even when disabled in the
config.yml. - Fix: Distance Refund Bug: Corrected the distance calculation from 3D to 2D. Pearls thrown from heights (like mountains) are no longer unfairly blocked by vertical distance.

- Expanded Material Support (1.8 - 1.21.4):
- Added over 50 modern materials (Crimson, Warped, Blackstone, Tuff, Cherry, Bamboo, etc.) to the logic for Slabs, Stairs, and Fence Gates.
- Universal validation for vegetation, flowers, and grass (e.g.,
SHORT_GRASS,FERNS, etc.) across all versions.
- Memory Optimization (OriginManager):
- Migrated from
EntitytoUUIDkeys to prevent memory leaks during chunk unloads. - Implemented a Timestamp-based cleanup system (60s) to remove data for pearls that never impact.
