This version was actually going to be 3.1.333, but I was so excited to start developing V4 that, without realizing it, I added about 70% of the concept for it, so I decided to cancel V3.1.333 and develop version 4.0.333 in its entirety.
The funny thing is that some things in this version were planned for V5, which is officially the last major update this mod will receive (the next ones will only be to fix bugs, so with this one the mod would technically be considered complete). Some of them were the new uses of the “Hornbranch” and the “Corrupted Arm,” the new distribution of documents, etc. But I'll just say that V5 scares me, because after documenting all the changes in this version, I realized how HUGE it is, and if you compare it to what I have planned for V5… Well, let's just say that maybe a lot of people might be disappointed, might dislike it, or might even think I'm joking… Anyway! V5 could be out in March/April! Stay tuned :D!
[!!] KNOWN ISSUES [!!]
- In some cases after getting consumed by THE SAMSIDE and entering your world (obviously by having the “SAFE MODE”), there’s a chance to see a fake credits screen looping forever. For the moment I don’t know how to fix this XD; far from that, it is not a MASSIVE PROBLEM since you can exit that screen just by pressing “escape” on your keyboard, but it feels weird or even broken.

CONFIG:
- You can access it in the mods' menu once you’re in the game; this is meant to make setting up the mod easier instead of typing commands or even allowing cheats in a world.
- The client side is always accessible, but the server side requires you to have at least been in a world before.
- There are currently 5 configs, 3 for client side and 2 for server side (obviously if you’re playing in a server, you must enable them in the server, or if it's a local multiplayer world (via LAN, Essentials, etc.), the host should be the one who has to change them in order to work in the world while the current world is not online).

FEAR EVENTS

- The Paranoia effect amplifier will now be randomized between 50 and 100 instead of always being level 100. (I recently discovered that I'd added this and forgotten about it.)
- The Anguish effect duration will now be randomized between 20 and 45 seconds, instead of always being 45 seconds.
- Now paranoia & anguish effects will increase fear.
ITEMS
- The items in the creative tabs have been reordered
- Hornbranch and the new Upgraded Hornbranch will also appear in the Tools - creative tab

- Now hornbranches will break if they’re enchanted

GUI
- The Fearbar texture has been reworked.

- Document inventory/document size won't change via GUI scale anymore; instead, they may adapt to your screen size (hope so…).
- Case: Virsoul has been tweaked to reference the new entity “Cursed Madness.”
- Document Inventory has been reworked.
- The order of the documents has been tweaked, so when you enter your world after updating, they will reset.
- Document case “Conformation” It isn't available; if you try to open it, it will show its button image all over the screen… I guess… Anyway, it will be available in the next update… Which would be officially the last one ;)
BLOCKS
- Anti-Monster Station texture has been reworked
- Corruptiny won't be able to create “Corrupted Spores” biomes while being in these biomes [Ominous Valley, Corrupted Spore & Error3008 (THE SAMSIDE)].
- Corruptiny now has a new event that can be toggled with the new “allowCorruptedPlague.”
- While the game rule is set on “TRUE,” Corruptinies would be able to multiply themselves while in “Corrupted Spores.”
- This allows them to be renewable and to spread their terrain even more.
- Corrupted Moss and Corrupted Moss Carpets may now become hazed if they're in Hazed Plains.
- Smiley buds may now become One-motem if they're in Hazed Plains.
- Some flowers now have other blocks instead of dirt when placed on a flowerpot (SUPER IMPORTANT CHANGE! WOW!).
BIOMES
- Tweaked bone meal in some biomes of the mod:

STRUCTURES:
- The bench feature inside Ominous Valley has now waxed signs (if I'm known for something, it is for misclicking on everything).
- The ominous lamp feature will now have a grass block underneath.
- The Ruined Blacksmith structure now will always have 2 locked ominous barrels in it (this could happen if the damn structures won't keep overlapping each other).
- Porky's Game Cake feature is now a bit rarer (maybe…).
ENTITIES:
- Now corrupted entities won't drop any loot on death; instead, they’ll only drop the new “Strangely Familiar Meat.”
- Any animal that dies inside Hazed Plains won't drop any loot; instead, they’ll only drop the new “Strangely Familiar Meat.”
- Wolf armor won't protect dogs if they are hurt by entities such as “Deadtime Jones,” “Soulbound,” or “Rottenmorphen”;
- Most of the entities of the mod will not sink on powder snow.
- Soulbound:
- The model and animation have been tweaked.
- Animations have been reordered (now prioritizing idle overall).
- Spawn has increased a bit.
- Deadtime Jones:
- Has a chasing theme now.
- Knockback resistance has been increased while climbing.
- Has a swimming animation.
- Swimming speed has been increased.
- Roaring animation will now be skipped if being damaged.
- Rottenmorphen:
- Cooldown has been nerfed.
- Attack now decreases paranoia cooldown.
- Sinber:
- The model & animations have been fully reworked.
- The encounter theme has been “remastered.”
- His cooldown has been tweaked (maybe making him more annoying or more controlled; who knows…)
- “Sinber’s Missclick” admits more blocks.
- “Sinber's Missclick” shouldn’t happen if he is nearby.
- “Sinber’s Missclick” chance has been increased and technically synced to the server side.
- After despawning there’s a chance that he drops the new “Sinessence”
- Sinber has received brand-new modes.
- If he hasn't moved in a while while carrying you, he'll yeet you and laugh at your misery (not evil at all).
- In some events, you can hit him to make him leave earlier (now it's a thing, so you don't get “troubled”).
- As Sinber has more than 2 modes now, THE SAMSIDE one has been overwritten to (Mode=-1). (IDK, why didn't I think of this before, even knowing I had plans for him… So, well, be careful not to update the mod if you're on THE SAMSIDE with him, xd).
- Finally, after 2 versions, there's a way to “return” Sinber to THE SAMSIDE.
- And if you “return” him to THE SAMSIDE, it will appear before you die to “save” you again! Awesome, right?

- All the loot has been reworked.
- The Porky's Game Cake loot has been the most affected due to the new reassignment of the documents.
- Hazed Plains pots now have custom loot.
- Documents will now be found in places related to its lore. Here I'll show you their new distribution for each document case.

THE SAMSIDE:
- Added new ambient music to the end event of the SAMSIDE

BUGFIX:
- Now the “Is it really worth it?” Advancement would be granted after crafting an Aberration Sword instead of having it.
- When the player receives one of these advancements: [“Into Corruption,” “FAKER!,” or “Don't breathe!”] Will now unlock the “Anti-Monster Station” crafting recipe (before this, you would have to craft it to unlock the recipe).
- Added some tags that I've forgotten since update V2.0 (nothing very important).
- Fixed a miss rendering issue due to a misspelling thing (maybe not so important too).
- Clicking buttons on document inventories won't emit the typical “MC button SFX”; instead, it will only play the “page turn” sound.
- The “Corrupted Spores” biome will officially not have shaders. (Before this, it was in the filter with the incorrect name: “ominous_spore.”)
- The music of the biomes won’t be skipped/altered after entering a biome of the mod.
- Ominous Valley tracks volume has been readjusted to be at least audible (before this, they were barely noticed even with music volume at 100%).
- Poison is now applied correctly to entities in Hazed Plains.
- Deadly Tension volume on mob despawning has been lowered.
- Deadtime Jones will now drop the blocks that he breaks while climbing.
- Deadtime Jones may not be so cheesable with the Anti-Monster Station
- Rottenmorphen won't have fall damage again.
- Rottenmorphen now accepts more types of projectiles.
- Rottenmorphen attack now won't add knockback (this may avoid some issues).
- Rottenmorphen attack animation may not interrupt again.
- K will now despawn if its target doesn't have the “anguish” effect.
- Sinber’s monologue will not be interrupted by “SAMSIDE DENIALS” (the message that pops up when the player chats or cheats inside “THE SAMSIDE”).
- Sinber should detect if you're using OBS in its monologue again. (This is because I modified a single value in the last update.)
- Sinber won't emit more falling sounds while trying to scare you.
- Sinber won't fall while jumpscaring you anymore.
- Sinber now has an idle animation while it is grabbing a player (to avoid the “backshot” issue).
- The player may not sink while being grabbed by Sinber on the edge of a block.
- Sinber will now despawn if it's not in “THE SAMSIDE” and the world isn't “sinned.”
- HIM will now despawn if it’s in the overworld… Yeah… (STOP T-POSING “HIM” FOR YOUR THUMBNAILS! >:( )
- Removed the effect “Exalted” and replaced it with “Startled” due to a misinterpretation, so be careful while updating the mod in a world while being chased by Deadtime Jones ;).
“THE SAMSIDE” won't have music anymore.
- When entering THE SAMSIDE, your food level will always be at half due to starving death
- Fixed a TON of bugs related to THE SAMSIDE end event, for example, “Keep floating above the world after the event with “Safe Mode” active,” etc…
