PlayerDrops - DeathManager
A lightweight paper plugin that drops a configurable percentage of a player’s inventory on death. Supports slot‑accurate item restoration and avoids conflicts with other death‑related plugins.
PlayerDrop – Configurable Inventory Drop Control
PlayerDrop is a lightweight and reliable Bukkit/Spigot/Paper plugin that lets you control exactly how much of a player’s inventory is dropped on death. Instead of losing everything, players drop only a configurable percentage of their items, while the rest is safely restored to the original inventory slots upon respawn.
The plugin works with all standard inventory sections — hotbar, main inventory, armor, and off‑hand — and uses a clean slot‑accurate restore system to ensure players keep the correct items in the correct places. Drops are fully randomized based on your configured percentage, making the system fair and unpredictable while still preserving progression.
By choosing any value between 0 and 100, you can easily decide whether players drop half, none, or all of their loot. The drop system is fully slot‑based, ensuring consistent and predictable behavior across all inventory types.
Command
/playerdrop set <number>— sets the drop percentage (0–100)
This plugin is currently in its beta stage and not yet a full release. Stay tuned — active development and improvements are ongoing.
The plugin was developed for Minecraft 1.21.11, also tested on 1.21.8, and works on all Bukkit‑based servers including Spigot, Paper, Purpur, and Folia.
