Additions:

Cannons: Shoot Cannonballs when fueled with a Cannonball and Gunpowder and Lit with a Torch
Two sets of Pirate Armor: The Black Crusader armor and the Dark Pirate Armor along with the Skull mask
Sextant: Gives you your world position without having to open F3 (and it looks cool)
Dabloons: Pirate style Currency - made using Gold and Diamonds and can be crafted into Dabloon Stacks
Shipwood: More durable Woodtype made by rightclicking any plank/log with a Tar Bottle. Comes in default and Black color
Tar: Used to create shipwood. Made by blasting Coal
Structures: A Hut, a small Cannontower, an upside down Shipwreck and a Camp
