Orbital Strikes
Call down explosive strikes from above. Aim, right-click, and boom. The Orbital Cannon fires explosions at anything you can see, up to 100 blocks away. 5-second cooldown.
Orbital Strikes adds the Orbital Cannon, a fishing rod-styled weapon that calls down explosions on your target.
How it works
- Aim at where you want to strike
- Right-click to fire
- An explosion hits the spot you're looking at, up to 100 blocks away
- 5-second cooldown between shots
Find it in the Combat creative tab.
This is an early release (v0.1.2). The cannon uses a custom fishing rod-style texture and triggers a creeper-sized explosion at the targeted location. It works by casting a ray from the player's view toward whatever block or entity they're aiming at, then detonating an explosion at that point. The 5-second cooldown prevents spamming and keeps combat balanced.
The item is fully localized in English and integrates naturally into vanilla survival gameplay. It does not require any additional dependencies or libraries.
Avaibility
Available for Minecraft 1.21.1 (NeoForge). 1.20.1 (Forge) source code is available but not yet uploaded.
