Removes the new cursor when hovering over buttons or interactions.
Removes the new mouse cursor that appears when hovering over buttons and interactive elements in Minecraft. Restores the classic pointer for a seamless interface experience. I hope you like it; this is one of my first projects in fabric, so don't expect too much.
Hello everyone,
Starting with Snapshot 25w35a, Mojang introduced official support for adaptive cursors within Minecraft’s accessibility settings.
As a result, it is now possible to disable the “hand” cursor and restore the classic pointer without relying on any mods.
How to disable the new cursor (Vanilla method) Open Minecraft and access the main menu. Go to Options. Navigate to Accessibility Settings. Locate the Adaptive Cursor (or similar) option. Disable this setting.
Once this option is turned off, the game will revert to the traditional cursor behavior.
Additional notes This feature is available in Snapshot 25w35a and later versions. The exact naming of the setting may vary slightly depending on language or future updates. No external modifications are required.
This change effectively replaces the need for mods that previously handled cursor behavior.
