ObserverMode

ObserverMode is a simple Datapack that provides a new "observer gamemode" which adds a way to have visible spectators. This pack is primarily designed to allow people to view a server and have the people on the server see them without allowing them to make any edits or changes to the server and without limiting their location like with Adventure mode.

Usage

First, an admin needs to run /scoreboard players enable USERNAME observer to allow that player to enter observer mode. If you have been granted the ability to enter observer mode, then you can run /trigger observer to toggle between it and your gamemode before entering observer mode.

Admins can also run /function observermode:enable_observer and /function observermode:disable_observer to directly set whether or not they are in observer mode.

To put another player in observer mode (admins only) you would run a command like /execute as USERNAME run function observermode:enable_observer.
