The first time each type of death occurs, a positive buff is granted. On the second death, the buff is reduced or a debuff is applied. Certain items can remove debuffs, enhancing the vanilla survival experience.

Core Mechanics
First Death Bonus
When a player dies from a new type of death (e.g., fall, fire, lava, mobs, etc.) for the first time, a positive buff is granted.
This reward gives players an edge, encouraging them to take risks and learn from their experiences.
Repeated Death Penalty
If the player dies again from the same death type, the previously earned buff will be removed and may be replaced with a debuff.
This discourages repetitive mistakes and adds layers of strategic caution to survival gameplay.
Golden Apple Unlocks
When a player obtains a golden apple, it unlocks Item Crafting Recipe, including:
- Protective Shield – Grants temporary extra protection
- Debuff Removal – Removes one active negative effect
This mechanic turns golden apples into valuable strategic resources, not just food.
