Visual settings
Runes look janky on your modded gear? Disable rendering. Want to organically discover rune magic? Hide the names of unknown runes - they'll be revealed when you find them.

Balance to taste! Also, adjust rune cost if they feel too cheap/expensive. WARNING: config options have spoilers.

Optionally, rune names can be hidden until you find them in-game.
Enhanced Mobs
~1/100 mobs (configurable) will spawn with runic enhancements. Kill them to claim the rune that empowers them. (Optional, everything in tis mod can be done with exploration and crafting.)
Melt, alloy, cast.
Automation friendly ore processing. This system is also used to create new runes - color and tier depend on the metal.
Molten metals
These aren't just an abstraction. Every molten metal is a real fluid, with temperature based color, light emission, and fire damage. (Un)Safe for decoration!
JEI
Full support for every recipe. However, you'll need to do some experimentation to find out what the rune combos do - results automatically "recorded" in guidebook.
Templates
Can be found in the world or crafted at a whittling table.
Runic Anvil
Inspired by the MnA anvil, this can be used to do more than just enchant your gear -> runes provide powerful, stacking buffs.

Lots of ores
... provided as a convenience to pack devs. Only a few will naturally spawn. Don't waste your time looking for "alloy ores"... unless your pack dev added them!
Water in the Nether?
Use the endgame "Amplify" rune to dramatically enhance the power of your arrays. With amplification, this water rune has become powerful enough to hydrate the nether.
Enhanced Creeper
A wasp is to a bee as an blast-proof creeper is to its vanilla counterpart. Think of the potential for redstone engineering!
