Use and multiplayer behavior
Hold the broom in the main hand or offhand. In Survival, double-tap Space to toggle vanilla Creative-style flight; Space rises, Shift descends, and WASD controls movement.
The ability is checked by the server every tick, so swapping hands with F keeps it active. Dropping the broom or moving it out of both hands disables flight immediately and makes an airborne player fall normally.
Hunger exhaustion is suppressed while the broom is held. No game mode, permanent ability, custom client permission, Elytra, rocket, or fuel is used.
