1.1.1 Winter Break Update!

The update adds some christmas themed features with the main focus being bugs and adding/reworking unused features to the mod before it ceases develpoment for some time.

Big Changes

• Added Marshmellows
  • Added Marshmellow on stick
  • Can be cooked on campfires
• Added White and Dark Variants to:
  • Chocolate Apple
  • Chocolate Cookie
• Added Candy Canes
• Added/Changed ~15 categorised advancements
• Re-activated and fixed up corn related blocks
• Chocolate-related recipes now use chocolate tabs that get bitten on use
• Fixed chocolate biting(basically re-did everything because i hate myself it seems)
  • AND IT'S LIKELY STILL BUGGED i have no idea as to what would i need to do. I wanted to do more with chocolate like custom package coloring and like idk nuts but i just don't have the skills to do layers and NBT's

Smaller Changes

• New christmas logo (way too late for that lol)
• Buffed the saturation of some sweets(cookies, misc)
• Buffed some crafting recipes
• Updated textures for:
  • Corn (item)
  • Candy Corn
  • Green, Lime, Light Blue, Blue, Cyan, Brown, Grey, Purple, Magenta and Orange Candy colors
  • Sugar block (+ wet)
• Updated particles for the pumpkin suprise and removed a dupe exploit
• Renamed pumpkin present to pumpkin suprise
• Improved how Corn crops spawn, may be buggy but farmers can sell corn anyway
• Fixed a crash case caused by some advancements in certain cases (Btw im not saying exactly what those are cause i don't want people exploiting older versions)
• Changed the order of Creative tabs
• Removed some unused textures and files
• Updated older tags
• A lot of smaller misc stuff i forgot to include here

Dev Note:

There is a note about that but the mod is not going to be developed actively anymore until (I hope) summer because of time constrains and general burnout. This version was meant to be both a patch and a small update for Christmas but because of my time rapidly shrinking as i was approaching the deadline, me getting sick and some bad code stuff i didn't hit my deadline and struggled after that for half a month to fix up bugs. I just don't have time for such a time consuming task, making mods takes up a lot of free time and effort. Hope there won't be bugs and see you in (I hope) a few months. ;D

1.1 Spookversary Update!

DO NOT USE THIS VERSION.

It's way too buggy and has a high chance of corrupting worlds so now it is just a deprecated version it is highly discouraged to use this version

This update is slightly themed around Halloween but more importantly HAPPY BIRTH DAY NIKT'S SWEETS! You're 1 year old now! And so I think when I post a patch the mod will be classified as a "FULL release" because the update is THE biggest update change wise

DISCLAIMER: This update is very unstable. And yes it was finished in a rush

Big changes

• Reworked(broke) nearly ALL Sweets to use Item States(Expect bugs form these)
  • All cookie variants
  • Candy Colors
  • Ice Cream types
  • Chocolates
    note: That will make it so it's easier to add more flavors
• Reworked candy wrapping paper. Now it's only white, other colors optional
• Remade all advanctments
• Added Pumpkin presents
  • You can put items in it. When powered explodes
• Added A Sugar Block(and Sugar Cubes) It serves as a farmable alternative to ice making you faster on it if it's not wet

Smaller changes

• Deactivated corn related blocks because of build errors i couldn't fix in time :(
• Golden Cookies no longer just an easter egg
• Added Candy Corn (Texture not made by me)
• New Halloween Logo
• Rebalanced most crafting recipes
  • Notable examples: Ice cream needs sugar, less raw cookies per craft
• Due to my inability to deal with NBT's the Sweets Tab is removed
• Updated villager trades

Major Fixes

• JEI no longer required (crafting recipe book)
• Fixed the chocolate tag misspelled as chocotale
  • So now chocolate cookie is craftable (sorry.)
• Fixed a crash case

Smaller Fixes

• Raw Chocolate, Ice cream cone, now stack to 64
• Tweaked Corn generation
• Almost all recipes are now shapeless
• Added more textures to candies
• I KNOW chocolate tabs are broken again they're just tedious!

1.19 version will come in 1.1.1 not this one srry

Anniversary!

• Nikt's Sweets (before it was C&C) originally started as a really small mod to add Cookies into the game for my sister, she liked it! So on Nov 2 2022 i put up the mod on Planet Minecraft. All the downloads and views i got there were motivating for me to just keep updating the mod with fixes and features. (I really could've done a better job at these features, now they only cause problems) But now we're here in the 7th update the mod has gotten this past year. Each adding something with it now the mod is way bigger than just Cookies and Candies! I hope to bring you a pleasant and sweet experience with the mod (btw the projects i said i was doing were all scrapped because of time constrains)

1.0.3a Patch

Just a patch to fix up some stuff. The mod is now really close to it's final stage but that will need to wait (more info below)

New stuff

• Added randomly generated Baker Villager house
• Added Forge version checker(Updates will now appear in "mods" in main menu) :)
• 1.19/1.20 are now both available

Bigger fixes

• Updated the Corn crop in many ways
  • Mainly Texture work, Logic and Optimization
  • Also now generates in world(Took me long enough to figure out lol) they're more likely to generate higher into the world
• (Hopefully) fixed sweets that were supposed to be fed to animals
• Baking is now faster than cooking in furnaces

Minor fixes

• Adjusted saturation given by foods
• Adjusted crafting recipies
• Added some recipe groups
• Fixed/Added some advancments incorrectly being tied to Root
• Fixed grammar mistakes

Sweet's Future

The mod isn't getting any traction (sadly) but I will still working on it. Just. Less... WAY Less.. it's mainly because of new projects I'm working on and school's coming soon so yea we'll see how it goes. See you in halloween! (Idk yet if 1.0.4 or 1.1)
